PANTOSEC 40MG TABLET is used to manage peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and reflux esophagitis and its associated symptoms such as acidity, heartburn, acid reflux and pain in swallowing. It contains Pantoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors. PANTOSEC 40MG TABLET can also be used to manage peptic ulcer caused due to long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as aspirin, ibuprofen).
Take PANTOSEC 40MG TABLET at least 1 hour before meals to achieve maximum benefits. During management with PANTOSEC 40MG TABLET your doctor will closely monitor kidney functions, liver functions and blood magnesium levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects. Before taking inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have weak bones or any previous history of bleeding in the gut.
